Last week an informative presentation was held at the Wellness Rehabilitation Centre on "what we need to know for quick & effective rehabilitation after Vascular Stroke and other neurological diseases.", from the neurological rehabilitation department of the centre.
In the presentation, after an introductory briefing on neurological cases and the ways of dealing with them, the process of rehabilitation was discussed in detail.
Starting with the question "why should I go to a rehabilitation centre", the benefits that can be gained by choosing the comprehensive and specialised care of a centre were discussed in detail, as well as the factors that make it difficult to rehabilitate outside the centre.
The phases and objectives of the rehabilitation programme, which are based on treatment protocols, were then analysed.
In addition, all the treatment methods applied in our centre were presented and useful tips were given for the patient's return home and daily activities. The presentation ended with questions from the audience, mainly concerning ways to improve the daily life of patients.
